| Description: | The Fieries and the Snuffies Residency sponsored by The University of Arizona Poetry Center in Tucson offers a one month residency, including a stipend of $500 to an emerging poet, fiction, or non-fiction writer who has published no more than one full-length book. The residency includes room and board in a studio apartment located within steps of the Center's renowned archive and may take place between June 1 and August 31, 2008. Submit up to 10 pages of poetry of 20 pages of prose with a $12 application fee by January 16, 2008. Send an SASE, email or visit our website for an application and complete guidelines.
