In all of my teaching, I seek to provide a safe, supportive environment for writers to express themselves and to grow personally and in their writing. My students say they find my style nurturing, honest, and forthright.

I find that my lifetime of training and experience in neuropsychology, eastern and western religions, facilitation and training of adults, and working with Native Americans serves me well as a foundation for my teaching and writing.

I have published training manuals, magazine articles, short stories, and the nonfiction book, Mary's Way, and edited for individuals and publishers. Since adolescence, my personal writing provided the grounding for my inner exploration while writing nonfiction and fiction became my mode of creative self-expression.

Please visit the website to read what my students say about ClarityWorks' programs.

In April,a 7-day retreat is held on Seabrook Island, 30 miles south of Charleston, SC; in June, a 3-day retreat is held at Lake Logan, 40 miles west of Asheville, NC, in the shadow of the Blue Ridge; Lake Logan is also the site of a 7-day retreat held in November.
