Casa Libre is the first permanent writer's residency facility in Arizona. We award 10 to 26 day residencies on an application basis for self-directed residency stays in our fully outfitted writing suites. All genres welcome to apply. Residencies awarded on the merits of seriousness of project and writing experience, not on publication experience. A week-long writers' and visual artists' workshop held in Santa Fe, NM, sponsored by Image journal. As well as issues of craft, the Glen focuses on the relationship between art and religious faith.
